Audible: Lakeside Rendezvous

A multi-sensory experience at the iconic Central Park Boathouse that redefined how audio content can be felt, not just heard. From a bespoke Afternoon Tea Listening Experience pairing fine teas and canapés with live readings from top Audible titles to romantic rowboat rides led by our “Swoon Crew,” every moment was choreographed to celebrate the Romance genre. The event drew an elite guest list of over 50 top-tier attendees — including talent like Phillipa Soo and Steven Pasquale to media outlets like Variety and People — resulting in both organic social amplification and spread across major influencer channels.

Beyond press and influencers, over 1,000 New Yorkers and tourists joined Audible’s Lakeside Rendezvous for a romantic rowboat ride on Central Park’s most iconic lake. Guests were immersed in branded touchpoints at every turn – from custom fans for when things heated up to an Audible Love Match Quiz—a swipe-style digital experience playfully showcasing Audible’s Romance catalog. Before boarding, guests explored a prop station full of romantic touches like flower crowns, branded robes, and headphones, each referencing Audible’s top 3 romantic genres. The journey concluded with our costumed romantic love interests delivering calling cards to guests seamlessly directing them to Audible’s Romance titles. To ensure our guests were able to capture the moment, we offered professional photography with custom branded frames while they were out on the lake as well as a bloom-filled photo moment once they returned to land. Every detail, from the floral installations and prop styling to the orange bouquet takeaway moments, reinforced the brand’s cheekiness while translating digital storytelling into tangible emotion.
